Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans lost all four games last week, going 0-2-0-2 against Missouri, Alaska and Tulsa. The Oilers swept a weekend series against the Americans winning in Tulsa on Saturday night and in Allen on Sunday afternoon. The Americans host Missouri in back to back games this weekend at Allen Event Center, which includes an Easter Sunday m atinee at 4:05 PM.

Americans Overall Record: 36-22-3-4 (Second in the ECHL Central Division)

Wednesday, March 16th vs. Missouri Mavericks - 6-3 Loss

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans blew a 2-0 first period lead on Wednesday night, as they were outscored 5-1 the rest of the way, as the Missouri Mavericks defeated the Americans 6-3 at Allen Event Center.

Friday, March 18th vs. Alaska Aces - 2-1 SO Loss

Allen, Texas - Vincent Arseneau scored the lone Americans goal on Friday night, as the Alaska Aces defeated the Americans by a score of 2-1 in a shootout. Americans goalie Jamie Murray stopped 40 of 41 Aces shots in regulation.

Saturday, March 19th vs. Tulsa Oilers - 3-2 SO Loss

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Americans couldn't hold on to a 2-1 third period lead as the Tulsa Oilers rallied to tie the score seven minutes into the final frame. Allen would eventually lose in a shootout for the second night in a row, as Tulsa's Ben Walker would score the game winner in the 7th round of the shootout.

Sunday, March 20th vs. Tulsa Oilers - 4-3 Loss

Allen, Texas - Tulsa Oilers forward Brad Ramsey scored shorthanded in the third period in what turned out to be the game winner for Tulsa, as the Oilers swept the Americans in a two-game weekend series.
