Allen Americans News Release
Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans spent Thanksgiving week on the road visiting four cities in five nights, winning three of four games. The Americans are one point behind Tulsa for the top spot in the ECHL Central Division.

Tuesday, November 25th @ Tulsa, 3-1 Win
Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Allen Americans outscored the Tulsa Oilers 2-1 in the opening period and held on for a 3-1 win at the BOK Center. Greger Hanson's first period goal, his 8th of the season, turned out to be the game winner.
Wednesday, November 26th @ Missouri, 6-0 Win
Independence, Missouri - The Americans offense exploded for six goals, while shutting down Missouri in a 6-0 victory at Independence Events Center. Six different players scored for Allen, who went 2 of 3 on the power play. Riley Gill collected the win and earned his first shutout of the season.
Thursday, November 27th @ Tulsa, 5-4 SO Win
Tulsa, Oklahoma - Chad Costello tied the game for Allen late in the third period, as the Americans played their first extra session of the season, winning in a shootout 5-4 on Thanksgiving night in Tulsa. The victory was Allen's 8th in a row.
Saturday, November 29th @ Tulsa, 3-1 Loss
Wichita, Kansas - Wichita scored three unanswered goals to hand Allen its first loss since November 14th, dropping a 3-1 decision to the Thunder. The Americans were 0 for 5 on the power play, failing to cash in on several good scoring chances in the third period. The loss ended Allen's eight game winning streak.

Matchup - The Allen Americans begin a stretch of three straight against Tulsa and another week with four games that will close out next Sunday afternoon against Missouri. The Americans are 2-2-0-0 against Tulsa and 2-0-0-0 against Missouri this season. This will be Missouri's first visit to Allen this season, and the first game for former assistant Richard Matvichuk at Allen Event Center.
