EVANSVILLE, Ind.- Here's what's happening with the Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light.

Last week's record 2-0-1-0 Wednesday, Nov. 26 At Cincinnati W 5-3. Friday, Nov. 28 At Elmira OTL 3-2 Saturday Nov. 29 at Elmira W 1-0,

Wednesday, Nov. 26 At Cincinnati W 5-3

The IceMen struck first as Jarret Lukin potted a cross-crease feed from Jim McKenzie to put Evansville 1-0 at the first intermission. However, the Cyclones responded with two goals in the second and a strike early in the third to take a 3-1 lead.

As the clock ticked under the minute mark, the IceMen fought back. Andre Morrissette deflected a Myles Bell shot into the net to cut it to 3-2.

A few minutes later the rebound from a Guy Lepine slap shot died in the crease, where Kevin Harvey found it and deposited it into the back of the net to tie the game.

With overtime less than 12 seconds away, Matt Lowry stole the puck and smoked a shot past Rob Madore to put the IceMen up 4-3. Morrissette launched one into the empty net off a face off to cap an amazing comeback for the IceMen.

Friday, Nov. 28 At Elmira OTL 3-2

For the second consecutive game, the Evansville IceMen, entered the third period down by two goals, and for the second consecutive night, the IceMen fought back to tie it up as Andre Morrissette and Danny Hobbs both lit the lamp. In overtime, Elmira broke the tie when Mike Seidel stole the puck and scored on a breakaway. Branden Komm made 42 saves as the IceMen came away with a point.

Saturday Nov. 29 at Elmira W 1-0.

Chris Driedger made 38 saves and Kevin Harvey potted the game's only goal as the Evansville IceMen, defeated the Elmira Jackals by a score of 1-0 in a goaltending battle. Driedger's second shutout of the season helped the IceMen (8-7-1-1, 18 points) secure five points on their three-game Thanksgiving week road trip.

This Week's Games (Wednesday Dec. 3 At Indy 6:05 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5 vs. Kalamazoo 7:15 p.m,

Kalamazoo will come calling to Evansville in the IceMen's next home game on Friday Dec. 5. It will be Mascot Night at the Ford Center so drop by and watch area mascots take the ice in a game of broom ball. Plus season ticket holders will be able to enjoy a post game skate.

Team Notes

- Evansville is 7-1-0-1 when scoring 3 or more goals.

-The IceMen are 8-1-1- when holding opponents to three goals or less.

-Evansville averages four goals per game at home.

-The IceMen have outscored opponents 11-3 in the third period at the Ford Center.

-Evansville has killed of 19 of their last penalties

Milesstones

-Donnie Harris played the 100th game in an IceMen uniform on Friday night. Harris has played the 7th most games in IceMen history.

-Dwight Mullins won the 200th game of his coaching career on Saturday against Elmira

IceMen in the Community

Deaconess No Shave November Wrap up press conference Dec. 1 at 1:30 p.m.

In an effort to raise awareness for prostate and testicular cancer the Evansville IceMen have partnered with Deaconess Hospitals for their No Shave November Campaign. Six IceMen players (Randy Cure, Zach Currie, Kevin Harvey, Matt Lowry, Jarret Lukin, and Zach Sternberg) have been growing facial hair all month long. Assistant Coach Josh Beaulieau is also participating in the campaign.

Fans can vote for which IceMen player has the best facial hair by donating $1 in that players name at the Deaconess table during all IceMen home games in November. Donations can also be made at the IceMen office from 9-5 Monday through Friday through the rest of the month, except Thanksgiving Day.

IceMen Live Monday, Dec. 1 from 6-8 p.m. at Beef O' Brady's

Catch another exciting episode of IceMen Live at Beef O'Brady's on Monday night from 6-8 p.m. interviews will include Coach Dwight Mullins, Forward Matt Lowry, and Goaltender Branden Komm. Plus Mullins, Lowry, and Komm will answer questions from the fans.

IceMen Away game viewing party Dec. 3 starting at 6 p.m at Bar Louie

Come to Bar Louie and watch the IceMen battle their new in-state rival, the Indy Fuel. Game time is 6:05 so drop by Bar Louie and watch the game with your fellow IceMen fans.
