Hobbs, Kennedy Recalled to AHL

EVANSVILLE, Ind.- The Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light, have announced that forwards Danny Hobbs, and Patrick Kennedy have both been recalled by their respective AHL franchises. Both players were returned to the IceMen for last week's games, helping the IceMen to a 2-0-1 week.

Hobbs will return to the Binghamton Senators, the IceMen's AHL affiliate. The Shawville, Que. native scored the tying goal that forced overtime in Friday's loss to Elmira. Hobbs has two goals and assist in five games with the IceMen this season.

In five games with Binghamton this season, Hobbs picked up an assist. The IceMen are 4-0-1 with Hobbs in the lineup this season.

The Utica Comets have recalled Kennedy from his loan to the IceMen. In nine games with Evansville, Kennedy has potted four goals and dished out seven helpers. He had three assists over the last week including two in the IceMen's win over Cincinnati on Wednesday.

Kennedy celebrated his 26th birthday as the IceMen won on Saturday night at Elmira. With Kennedy in the lineup, the IceMen are 6-1-1-1.

The IceMen will journey to Indy on Wednesday, before they finally return to home ice on Friday, Dec. 5 to take on the Kalamazoo Wings. It will be Mascot Night at the Ford Center so drop by and watch area mascots take the ice in a game of broom ball. Plus season ticket holders will get to enjoy a post-game skate.
