
ECHL Promotes Persinger to Manager of Business Operations

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Monday that Valerie Persinger has been promoted to Manager of Business Operations. She will begin her new duties immediately in assisting with the administration and coordination of logistics for the day-to-day business of the ECHL.
Persinger joined the ECHL in July 2013 as Executive/Marketing Assistant. Prior to joining the ECHL, she worked as a Project Coordinator with Precision Sports Entertainment and also interned for the communications department of the National Hockey League, where she worked on the 2012 Winter Classic in Philadelphia and the 2012 NHL All-Star Game in Ottawa. A native of Short Hills, N.J., Persinger was awarded her bachelor's degree in public relations and journalism from Seton Hall University.
In her new role, Persinger will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the League's business, including monitoring League and team reporting mechanisms, daily coordination of League travel, assisting in the facilitation of League events such as the All-Star Game and Marketing & Communications Meetings, and working on special projects and new initiatives for the League.
