QUACK TRACKS

Dip

The Mallards have gone winless (0-2-2) in their last four games.

On the Road

The Mallards tomorrow night begin a six game road trip that will take them to Missouri, Rapid City (two games), Allen, Wichita and Tulsa. The Mallards are winless in their last six road games (0-2-4).

8,714

8,714 fans- the Mallards' largest November home crowd in over 16 years- saw the Mallards fall to Missouri Saturday. Saturday's attendance was the largest for a November Mallards home game since 9,207 watched the Mallards take on the Thunder Bay Thunder Cats on November 7, 1998.

Home Sweet Home

While Saturday's overtime setback ended the Mallards' three-game home winning streak, they remain unbeaten in regulation in their last four home games (3-0-1). Saturday night's game was the Mallards' only home tilt between November 22 and December 17.

Blanked

The Mallards last Wednesday in Wichita were shut out 2-0 and held to just 12 shots by the Thunder. The Mallards have now been blanked twice this season. The 12 shots are the fewest the Mallards have taken in a game since returning in 2009.

Stingy

The Mallards have allowed three non-shootout goals or fewer in seven straight games and 11 of their last 12 outings. They rank eighth in the ECHL in goals against per game (2.76).

Drought

The Mallards have scored a total of three goals over their last three games and have scored three or fewer in each of their last five games. They are tied for eleventh in the ECHL in goals per game (3.0).

Sudden Death

The Mallards Saturday night went to overtime for the seventh time this season and for the sixth time in their last ten games. They are 0-3 in games settled in overtime and 2-5 in games decided in either O.T. or the shootout. They have dropped five of their last six games that have been tied at the end of regulation.

Hot Shots

The Mallards, who have outshot their last two opponents, rank third in the ECHL in shots per game (33.3).

Special Teams

The Mallards rank sixth in the ECHL in penalty killing (85.7 percent). The Mallards have failed to convert their last 11 power plays and have gone 1-for-20 on the power play over their last five games to drop to nineteenth in the ECHL on the man advantage (15.0 percent).

Rapid Fire

The Mallards surrendered third period goals ten seconds apart to Tulsa's Drew Fisher and Dave Pszenyczny in last Friday's 2-0 loss to the Oilers after scoring twice in 53 seconds (Antti Pusa and Joe Perry) in the second period.

Johnny Be Good

Johnny Rogic has collected points in four straight games (1-3-4).

First

Ryan Nelson Saturday scored his first career goal.

Super Mario

Mario Lamoureux led the Mallards with 15 points (five goals and ten assists) in 13 games in November.

Between the Pipes

Parker Milner Saturday night made 26 saves while suffering the overtime loss in goal for the Mallards. Milner has started the Mallards' last two games- his first back-to-back starts of the season- after illness restricted Evan Mosher to back-up duty Saturday night. Milner has suffered just one regulation loss in his last five starts (2-1-2). Mosher went 2-1-3 in November with a 2.30 goals against average and a .939 save percentage. Mosher ranks fifth in the ECHL in save percentage (.933).

150

Mike Monfredo has played 149 consecutive regular season games for the Mallards since joining the team as a rookie in 2012-13. He is set to play his one hundred fiftieth straight game for the club tomorrow night.

Head to Head

The Mallards have gone 0-0-2 against the Mavericks this season. A 4-3 shootout loss in Missouri on November 23 preceded Saturday's overtime defeat. Tomorrow night's game is the third of 15 between the two teams this season. All-time, the Mallards have turned in a 16-20-2 overall record against the Mavericks and have gone 9-11-1 at the Independence Event Center...The Mallards have gone 2-1-0 against the Rush this season and on October 28 won the first meeting between the two clubs in Rapid City 4-1. They are 14-9-2 all-time against the Rush. The Mallards have posted a 6-4-2 record all-time in Rapid City.
