Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Harrisburg Senators announced today that pitcher Collin Balester has been promoted to triple-A Columbus. Balester pitched in the Future's Game in San Francisco on Sunday and was in Norwich, CT, for the Eastern League All-Star game last night.
Balester is set to join the Clippers tomorrow after making 17 starts in Harrisburg. Collin was 2-7 with the Senators with a 3.74 ERA. He worked a total of 98.3 innings and allowed 103 hits, 41 earned runs, 25 walks and led the Senators with 77 strikeouts.
The Senators will add outfielder Roger Bernadina to the roster for tonight's game in Reading. Bernadina returns to the fold after appearing in 13 games with Columbus. He hit .167 with no homers and 1 RBI.
While in Harrisburg earlier this season, Bernadina hit .277 with 3 home runs and 21 RBI's in 56 games. He was also leading the Eastern League in stolen bases with 25 at the time of his move to triple-A.
The Senators roster stands at 24 active players.
