Alex Lavoie Named to CHL's All Rookie Team

March 24, 2014 - Central Hockey League (CHL) - Allen Americans News Release

Allen, Texas - The Central Hockey League announced their CHL All-Rookie Team today, and Allen Americans Center Alex Lavoie is a part of the group.

Lavoie, currently on loan to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League, leads all rookies in scoring with 76 points, 25 goals and 51 assists. He is seventh overall in the CHL in scoring, and seventh is assists.

In two games since being loaned to the Oklahoma City Barons, he has a goal and is a plus 2. The native of Anjou, PQ, signed with Allen as free agent this season after playing in one game with the Americans last post-season, as an amateur.

Joining Alex Lavoie on the All-Rookie team, are forwards Adam Pleskach of Tulsa and Vincent Arseneau of Denver, Defensemen Henrik Odegaard of Missouri and Lee Moffie of Denver, and Goalie Ty Rimmer of Quad City.

The league will continue handing out awards later today, as the All-CHL Team will be revealed later this afternoon.
