Allen's Spencer Asuchak Named Oakley CHL Player of the Week

GLENDALE, AZ (March 24, 2014) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Allen Americans forward Spencer Asuchak has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending March 23, 2014.

The 22-year-old forward finished the Americans perfect week with four goals and four assists. Asuchak has been on a tear lately notching points in six straight games totaling seven goals and eight assists over that stretch. Last week was highlighted by a five-point game in a 7-2 victory over St. Charles on Friday night. The Kamloops, British Columbia native had his first professional hat trick along with two assists and a +4 plus/minus rating.
On the season, Asuchak is third among all rookies and leads his team with 53 points (20-33=53). He previously won the player of the week award for the week of January 20-26.
