AirHogs' Mincey Named American Association Relief Pitcher of the Year

Grand Prairie, TX - The Grand Prairie AirHogs RHP Patrick Mincey was named Relief Pitcher of the Year in the American Association on Friday. Mincey has had an outstanding 2013 season in which he has dominated league hitters from his closer's role with the team.
Mincey has 22 saves to go along with a 5-1 record and a 1.06 ERA. The bullpen ace has recorded 54 strikeouts while walking only 12 batters in 50.2 innings of work this season.
In 2012, Mincey was with Schaumburg in the Frontier League where he went 4-1 with a 2.78 ERA while being credited with 17 saves.
