February 9, 2010 - American Hockey League (AHL) - Syracuse Crunch News Release

The Syracuse Crunch are going for it!

The AHL attendance record for a single game is 20,672, set at the Greensboro Coliseum on January 18, 1997 when the Carolina Monarchs hosted the Kentucky Thoroughblades. The Syracuse Crunch have set their sights on breaking this 13-year old mark in what will already be a history-making contest. To date, attendance for the Mirabito Outdoor Classic is closing in on 16,000 with 11 days left until the February 20 game at the New York State Fairgrounds.
