The Aeros made a roster move today, placing RHP TJ Burton on the temporary inactive list, activating OF Matt LaPorta from the inactive list, and also receiving RHP Fausto Carmona on a Major League rehab assignment from the Cleveland Indians.

Burton has worked in 27 relief outings for Akron this year, going 2-2 with a 4.18 ERA. He was recently named to the Canadian Olympic baseball team and is expected to join his countrymen next Friday, the 25th.

LaPorta has missed the last week while participating in the Futures Game and then tending to a death in his family. He is hitting .375 (6-16)with a home run and four RBI in four games since joining the Aeros from the Milwaukee organization as part of the CC Sabathia trade.

Carmona went 19-8 and finished fourth in the American League Cy Young voting for the Indians last season. He opened this year strongly with a 4-2 record and 3.10 ERA in 10 starts for Cleveland, but landed on the 15-day disabled list with a left hip strain May 24th. Tonight he will work five innings and/or 80 pitches.
