BINGHAMTON, NY- Tonight's game vs. Binghamton has been suspended due to inclement weather and wet grounds. The two teams will resume the game on Monday, July 28th when Connecticut returns to NYSEG Stadium for a 4 game series.
The game was suspended after the 2nd inning where the Defenders had a 2-0 lead. Carlos Sosa drove in the only run with a solo shot over the right centerfield wall for his 8th homer of the season.
Connecticut and Binghamton will finish the series tomorrow from NYSEG Stadium at 1:05pm. Catch all the action on the Defenders Radio Network or by tuning into www.ctdefenders.com.
