Utah Grizzlies News Release

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies play-by-play broadcaster Adrian Denny will call his 500th consecutive Grizzlies game when the team visits Colorado Saturday on 1230 KFAN-2 and UtahGrizzlies.com. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

Denny, 29, is currently in his seventh season as the "Voice of the Grizzlies" and called his first Grizzlies game as the team made their ECHL debut on October 21, 2005 at home against Phoenix. He joined the Grizzlies broadcast team in 2003 and hosted pregame, intermission and post-game reports before being named the team's lead broadcaster in July of 2005.

"We are proud to have Adrian Denny as the "Voice of the Grizzlies", said Grizzlies CEO Kevin Bruder. "We appreciate his tireless effort in leading our broadcast team for the past seven years and look forward to the future."

The Utah native and University of Utah graduate has called more Grizzlies games than any broadcaster in team history. Denny was named to the television broadcast crew for the ECHL All-Star game in 2009 and 2011.

Denny joined the Grizzlies in October of 2002 and also serves as the team's Vice President of Communications and Broadcasting. In addition, he worked at Salt Lake sports radio station 1320 KFAN from 2002-2005.
