
Bakersfield Falls in Final Seconds to Las Vegas, 4-3

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - For the second game in a row, the Bakersfield Condors (6-18-3-0, 15pts) surrendered a game-winning goal in the final minute of regulation and fell, 4-3 to the Las Vegas Wranglers (15-7-1-3, 34pts) at Orleans Arena on Friday night. C Robby Dee recorded all three tallies for the Condors in the loss.
The Condors fell behind early in the first, just 2:45 into the opening period, as F Ash Goldie slid a low shot off a rebound past Condors G Bryan Pitton to give the Wranglers a 1-0 lead. Bakersfield tied the game at 1-1 when C Robby Dee collected a loose puck and snapped a shot under the crossbar at the 7:51 mark. The Condors were outshot, 13-3.
Bakersfield found their first lead of the game at the 6:58 mark of the second period when Dee deflected a D Dan Lawson shot past G Joe Fallon to put the Condors on top, 2-1. The Wrangles responded back with an equalizer, 9:39 into the period, when F Scott Campbell finished off an Adam Miller feed to tie the game at 2-2. Shots favored the Condors, 10-8.
Dee completed the hat trick just 1:57 into the third period off a net mouth scramble, pushing one past Fallon to put the Condors in front, 3-2. Las Vegas had an answer though with D Barry Goers tying the game at 3-3 with a hard shot from the left point at 9:19. Then, Campbell provided the heroics for the Wranglers as he banged home a rebound with just 15 seconds left in regulation for the eventual game-winning goal. D Tyler Kindle rang a slap shot off the crossbar in the waning seconds, but couldn't get the bounce into the net and the Condors fell, 4-3.

D Tyler Kindle was signed to a SPC today and played in his first game as a Condor...C Robby Dee's hat trick was the first this season for the Condors; he now has six goals in his last five games...D Dan Lawson registered his first professional point with an assist on Dee's second period goal...The Condors are now 0-2-1 against Las Vegas...Bakersfield played with nine forwards and seven defensemen...Five Condors sat out injured in this game: D Joe Loprieno, F Michael Gergen, RW Scott Freeman, F Ian McKenzie and F Chris Kushneriuk... Shots on goal: BAK- 18, LV- 18... Three Stars: 1. Campbell (LV); 2. Dee (BAK); 3. Goldie (LV).

Bakersfield's road trip concludes on Saturday in Las Vegas at 7 p.m.
