Rosemont, IL- The Chicago Wolves extended the Milwaukee Admirals to overtime for the second consecutive night Saturday. Unfortunately for Milwaukee, the Wolves won for the second consecutive night. It went to a shootout with Chicago winning 3-2.

The Admirals struck first with just 61 seconds remaining in the opening frame. Milwaukee's Brett Palin controlled the puck at the left point and fired toward the net. The puck came to Mark Van Guilder whose shot was stopped by the Wolves netminder Edward Pasquale. The rebound came to Mark Santorelli in the slot who put the puck into the net for his first goal of the season.
Chicago tied the game at 12:41 of the second period when Jared Ross found a bouncing puck in front of Pickard and slid it into the net for his first of the year.
Milwaukee reclaimed the lead just 1:31 later with a good forecheck. Michael Bartlett chased the puck down in the right corner, freed it and fed Van Guilder in the slot. Van Guilder's one-timer tucked under the crossbar over the right shoulder of Pasquale to give the Ads a 2-1 lead. The goal was Van Guilder's second of the season.
