Adirondack Frostbite News Release
LAST WEEK: Adirondack went 3-1-0 last week, winning all three of its home games (two versus Port Huron and one against Elmira) while suffering a loss at Danbury. The Frostbite are 14-4-0 overall this season for 28 points, and remain in first place of the Eastern Division. Adirondack holds a 10-point lead over second-place Danbury.
Wednesday, November 23 vs. Port Huron FROSTBITE 4 Flags 2
After a scoreless first period, Brad Mehalko gave Port Huron a 1-0 lead 13:37 into the second period. Adirondack came right back to tie the game on a Sylvain Cloutier power-play goal two minutes later. Goals by Hugo Belanger and Scott Drevitch early in the third staked the Frostbite to a two-goal advantage. The Flags pulled back within one at 11:07, but Mike Berry notched a power-play goal at 13:02 to set the final.
Friday, November 25 vs. Port Huron FROSTBITE 4 Flags 3 (SO)
The Frostbite spotted the Flags a 2-0 lead in the first 11:43 of the opening period. Adirondack tied the game before the period ended on power-play tallies from Scott Drevitch and Sylvain Cloutier. After neither team scored in the second period, Drevitch added his second of the night 4:39 into the third to give the Frostbite their first lead of the game. The Flags sent the game to the shootout, scoring a power-play goal with 48.5 seconds remaining in regulation. Mike Berry and Kevin Watters scored in the shootout for the Frostbite, while Derek Gustafson turned aside four of the Flags' five shooters to lift the Frostbite to the win.
Saturday, November 26 @ Danbury Trashers 5 FROSTBITE 1
Adirondack fell to 0-3-0 against Danbury this season with a 5-1 loss at the Danbury Ice Arena. The Trashers scored a pair of goals in each of the first two periods, and added a single tally early in the third. Hugo Belanger spoiled Sylvain Daigle's shutout bid with 1:56 remaining in the third period.
Sunday, November 27 vs. Elmira FROSTBITE 5 Jackals 4
The Frostbite returned home and returned to their winning ways on Sunday, outlasting Elmira 5-4. Kevin Cooper put the Jackals on the scoreboard first just 18 seconds into the second period. Hugo Belanger tied the game at 3:28 of the second, and just 51 seconds later Sylvain Cloutier tallied on a power play to give the Frostbite a one-goal lead after 40 minutes. Ryan Bennett's first goal of the season 1:13 into the final period gave Adirondack a 3-1 lead, but Elmira pulled back within one on Cooper's second goal of the night at 4:17. Mark Hurtubise restored the two-goal Frostbite advantage at 6:45, only to see the Jackals tie the game, scoring a pair of goals just three minutes apart midway through the period. But, the Frostbite were able to come right back, and Blue Bennefield notched a power-play tally at 15:16 to set the final.

Adirondack heads back to Richmond for a pair of games this week. The Frostbite are 6-0-0 against the RiverDogs this season, and 2-0-0 at the Richmond Coliseum. The RiverDogs are in fourth place of the Eastern Division with a 7-9-1 record for 15 points.
Saturday, December 4 vs. Roanoke 7:35 p.m.
The Roanoke Valley Vipers make their first-ever visit to the Glens Falls Civic Center on Saturday night. The Frostbite won a pair of games in Roanoke on November 11 and 12. The Vipers enter the week 7-6-1 for 15 points, and in third place of the Eastern Division.
Sunday, December 5 vs. Kalamazoo 5:15 p.m.
Kalamazoo makes its only visit to Glens Falls during the regular season on Sunday. The K-Wings possess the UHL's best defense, allowing just 28 goals through the first 16 games this season. Kalamazoo is 13-3-0 for 26 points, and is in second place of the Central Division, just two points behind Muskegon.

FROSTBITE ON THE AIR
All 76 Frostbite regular season games can be heard on WCKM 98.5 FM and on-line at www.frostbitehockey.com with the Voice of the Frostbite, Joe Babik. Each broadcast begins 20 minutes prior to face-off with the Frostbite Pre-Game Show. In addition, all Frostbite games are available to watch on a pay-per-view basis in conjunction with B2 Networks. The B2 Networks feed can be accessed through the Frostbite website at www.frostbitehockey.com. Every Monday during the season, WCKM airs the "In the Box" Show from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Davidson's. The show is hosted by WCKM morning personality, and Frostbite PA announcer, Dan Miner. Dan is joined on the show each week by Frostbite Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Marc Potvin, Frostbite Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Joe Babik, and a different Frostbite player. This week's guests are center David Moccia and defenseman Josh Mizerek.
