LAST WEEK: Adirondack suffered its first winless week of the season, going 0-1-1 in a pair of home games against Danbury. The Frostbite are 17-6-1 on the season for 35 points, and remain in first place of the Eastern Division, five points ahead of the Trashers.

Friday, December 9 vs. Danbury Trashers 3 FROSTBITE 0 Adirondack was shutout for the first time this season, falling to Danbury 3-0. The Trashers broke a scoreless tie 14:01 into the second period on a Drew Omicioli goal, and added a pair of goals in the third period to set the final.

Saturday, December 10 vs. Danbury Trashers 3 FROSTBITE 2 (SO) Danbury scored the only goal of the opening period, as Drew Omicioli scored at the 19:03 mark. The Frostbite rebounded to tie the game at 9:48 of the second as Kevin Watters got behind the Trashers' defense and beat Sylvain Daigle on a breakaway. Adirondack went ahead just over 2 minutes later on a Hugo Belanger power-play tally. The Trashers tied the game 5:50 into the final period, sending the game to a shootout. Watters scored on the Frostbite's first shot, but that would be the only goal the Frostbite scored. Frederic Belanger scored on Danbury's third shot, and Shawn Collymore's goal in round six was the game-winner.

THIS WEEK'S GAMES Friday, December 16 @ Fort Wayne 8:00 p.m. The Frostbite take on the Komets for the only time this season on Friday at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Fort Wayne just concluded a 3-1-0 road trip through the Eastern Division, and is in third place of the Western Division with a record of 8-12-2 for 18 points.

Saturday, December 17 @ Kalamazoo 7:30 p.m. Adirondack takes on Kalamazoo for the second of three times this season. The K-Wings won the first meeting, 4-2, at Glens Falls on December 4. Kalamazoo is in second place of the Central Division with a record of 17-5-1 for 35 points.

- Adirondack has killed off 23 straight opposition power-play chances, and 44 of the last 46 (95.7%) The Frostbite lead the league in penalty killing at 89.1%.

- The Frostbite are third in the league in both goals for per game (3.75) and goals against per game (2.83). - Hugo Belanger has 13 points (5g 8a) in the last 10 games. - Kevin Watters is second among all UHL rookies with 28 points. - Adirondack is one of just three teams in the league to have outscored its opposition in all three periods.

FROSTBITE ON THE AIR All 76 Frostbite regular season games can be heard on WCKM 98.5 FM and on-line at www.frostbitehockey.com with the Voice of the Frostbite, Joe Babik. Each broadcast begins 20 minutes prior to face-off with the Frostbite Pre-Game Show. In addition, all Frostbite games are available to watch on a pay-per-view basis in conjunction with B2 Networks. The B2 Networks feed can be accessed through the Frostbite website at www.frostbitehockey.com. (NOTE: Friday's game at Fort Wayne is not available on B2). Every Monday during the season, WCKM airs the "In the Box" Show from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Davidson's. The show is hosted by WCKM morning personality, and Frostbite PA announcer, Dan Miner. Dan is joined on the show each week by Frostbite Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Marc Potvin, Frostbite Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Joe Babik, and a different Frostbite player. This week's guests are goaltender Derek Gustafson and center Sylvain Cloutier.
