Friday, March 20, 2009 vs. Toronto Marlies

Time: 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.).

Dollar Beers, Dollar Dogs: The ever-popular promotion runs from 6-8 p.m. Fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $1 domestic drafts, while supplies last.

Do the Hokey Pokey!: During the second intermission, the Griffins will attempt to break the record for the largest circle dance by encouraging fans to participate in the Hokey Pokey. The current record of 6,748 participants was set in 1995 in Northern Ireland.

Third Jersey Auction: The Griffins will wear their Red Wings-style jerseys for the final time this season. Following the game, each game-worn jersey will be signed by the players and auctioned off.

Polish Heritage Celebration: The Griffins will host a Polish heritage celebration, with over 100 members representing the area's fourteen Polish Halls in attendance. Polka band "The Diddle Styx" will perform live from the D-Zone throughout the night and the 2008 Pulaski Queen, Bre Zost, will greet fans on the concourse from 6-7 p.m.

College Night: Presented by McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon, college students can visit the arena box office on the night of the game or The Zone anytime during the store's regular business hours to purchase a lower bowl ticket for just $10 with a valid student ID. While at the game, show your ID at the McFadden's concourse table to pick up a free pass to the post-game party, which is good for no cover charge and drink specials.

Get Pumped!: Receive a special ticket discount based on the national average price of a gallon of gasoline, thanks to Marathon Oil. Valid for tickets in sections 101, 102 and 128.

Library Night: Fans who present a public library card from the Grand Rapids Public Library or Kent District Library at the arena box office on the night of the game or at The Zone anytime during the store's regular business hours can purchase a lower bowl ticket for just $10 (limit four per card).

Throw for Dough: Fans can purchase Throw-for-Dough pucks for $1 or $3 for a chance to win $5,000, a $25 Visa gift card from Lake Michigan Credit Union, or a Griffins souvenir. Proceeds will benefit Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan.

Bobblehead Giveaway: 2,500 fans will receive a Justin Abdelkader bobblehead, courtesy of Comcast.

Star Wars Night: The Griffins will host their annual Star Wars Night, presented by Comcast. During the game, over 50 Star Wars characters will be seen roaming the concourse, and the Griffins Youth Foundation will sell t-shirts and pucks featuring a limited-edition Star Wars Griffins logo. For a small donation to the Youth Foundation, fans can have their picture taken with the characters or enjoy an interactive concourse display featuring games.

NYE Jersey Auction: After the game, the Griffins will auction off the following autographed, game-worn black New Year's Eve jerseys: Justin Abdelkader, P.J. Atherton, Finn, Aaron Gagnon, Tom Galvin, Sergei Kolosov, Logan Pyett and Mattias Ritola.
