
Aeros to wear charities jersey, host Quad City tonight at 7:35 p.m.

HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros will wear their Houston Aeros Charities jerseys as they host the Quad City Flames tonight, Friday the 13th, at 7:35 p.m. The Aeros, currently currently ranking second in the West Division, have the charity jerseys up for grabs as part of the annual "Jerseys Off Their Backs" silent auction going on now until March 21. Tickets are still available for tonight's game by calling (713) 974-PUCK.
The "Jerseys Off Their Backs" silent auction is underway to help support Houston Aeros Charities (HAC). The silent auction is for the HAC jerseys the players have worn at select games, including the next three. The auction will run at each home game until five minutes remaining in the second intermission on Saturday, March 21. Benoit Pouliot's jersey will be auctioned ONLINE ONLY ending at 12:01 p.m. CDT on March 20, click here to view that auction. At the conclusion of the game, the winners are able to retrieve the jersey won and have their picture taken with the player at center ice. This fundraising initiative has rasied over $120,000 in the past four seasons. There are only three games left to bid on your favorite player's jersey so bid early and often, and remember its for a good cause!
