Senators Assign Peter Regin To Binghamton

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Ottawa Senators assigned today center Peter Regin to the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.

In his first season with the B-Sens, Regin has scored 15 goals and added 23 assists while recording 38 penalty minutes in 46 games.

Regin has recorded one assist and two penalty minutes in five games with Ottawa since his third recall of the season on March 4. He made his National Hockey League debut (becoming only the fifth player born in Denmark to do so) on Jan. 20 vs. Washington. In 11 games this season with the Senators, Regin has one goal and one assist with two penalty minutes.

Regin was Ottawa's second third-round pick, 87th overall, in the 2004 NHL entry draft.
