3 Year Old Cancer Fighter to Get VIP Experience at Freedom Game

FLORENCE, KY - On Tuesday, June 25th, the Florence Freedom will welcome a lot more than the Washington Wild Things to town for the first of a three game series.
That's because June 25th is ESPN 1530'S Boone County Hometown Hero Night presented by Kentucky 811. Next Tuesday, Boone County and Northern Kentucky will rally behind 3-year old Burlington resident Boston Schwanberger in his battle with brain cancer.
Boston is part of a network of families in our area supported by The Dragonfly Foundation, whose mission is to bring comfort and joy to kids with cancer and blood diseases. The Freedom have come along side this foundation this year to help bring extra joy and support.
On Tuesday, Boston and his family will receive VIP treatment at the ballpark including personalized Freedom gear, VIP tickets at the Freedom's concourse table and also $3 of every ticket sold online when fans use special offer code "boone".
Fans wanting to support Boston and his fight can also save $2 on their online ticket purchase in addition to the Freedom donating $3 back to the Schwanberger family.

Fans can get to the ballpark a little earlier than usual as the Boone County Sherriff's Department has teamed with the Elsmere Police Department to take on the Burlington Fire Department in a game of softball.
