Trailing 7-1, Washington scored a run in the sixth inning and then scored three more times in the bottom of the ninth inning. With the go-ahead run at the plate, closer Eric Mass- ingham induced a lineout to end the game, securing the Evansville Otters win. It was their second straight victory and eighth consecutive series victory.
