Tri-City Americans News Release
The Americans are set to open the home portion of their 2022-23 schedule this Saturday (October 8) at the Toyota Center, presented by Washington River Protection Solutions. The game will start at 6:05 PM as they faceoff against the reigning WHL Champion Edmonton Oil Kings.
It will be Tri-City's first Home Opener against a non-U.S. Division opponent since 2009 when the Americans opened their season against the Kelowna Rockets. After no interconference games over the past two seasons, Edmonton and the rest of the Central Division will travel to Tri-City this season for the first time since 2018-19.
In addition to an exciting night of hockey, fans can look forward to a variety of special Home Opener activities.
