THE GOALS

First Period

WPG 0-1 at 3:49 - Aidan Oiring (2), assisted by Connor Dale and Jonas Woo // A turnover in the Pats end ended up on Dale's stick who spun around and put a backhand toward the Pats net which appeared to be heading wide but Oiring got a piece of it to tip it by Matthew Kieper to make it 1-0 ICE in the early going.

Second Period

WPG 0-2 at 4:53 - Owen Pederson (2), assisted by Zach Benson (SH) // As Kieper was attempting to cover the puck at the top of the crease a miscommunication occurred as he may have thought that the play had been stopped. Pederson took advantage by stealing the puck and putting it in the yawing cage to give the ICE a 2-0 lead.

WPG 0-3 at 12:12 - Ben Zloty (1), assisted by Conor Geekie and Ty Nash (4-on-4) // As the teams were playing some 4-on-4 hockey, Zloty got the puck in the slot one-on-one with Sam Oremba, who lost an edge and fell, leaving Zloty open who fired it past Kieper to increase the ICE lead to 3-0.

Third Period

WPG 0-4 at 44 seconds - Connor McClennon (4), assisted by Owen Pederson and Mattew Savoie // McClennon found himself behind the Pats defence all alone infront of Kieper, where he tucked the puck by the Pats goalie to extend the ICE lead to 4-0.

REG 1-4 at 2:44 - Jaxsin Vaughan (2), assisted by Carter Herman and Easton Armstrong // On a Pats rush into the offensive zone, Jaxsin Vaughan carried the puck up the right wing side and snapped a laser far side past Daniel Hauser's blocker to get the Pats on the board, now trailing 4-1.

REG 2-4 at 4:46 - Connor Bedard (6), assisted by Layton Feist // From the right boards, Feist sent a pass over to Bedard in the ICE slot and he fired his patented wrist shot past Hauser for his first career goal against the ICE.

WPG 2-4 at 19:57- Ty Nash (1), assisted by Zach Benson and Carson Lambos (EN) // With Kieper on the bench, Nash sealed the game with an empty netter with 2.3 seconds left.
