The winger was chosen with the first selection of the 2020 End-of-Year Waivers Draft on Wednesday, Dec. 16. MLS FC Cincinnati December 29, 2020 - CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati have acquired Costa Rica international defender Ronald Matarrita (pronounced MAT-a-ree-ta) from New York City FC in exchange for $500,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM). FC Cincinnati could send an additional $100,000 in General Allocation Money if Matarrita reaches certain performance incentives.
