Kruse, a native of Saline, MI, skated in all 72 games last season for the Walleye, posting 41 points (9G, 32A), 48 penalty minutes, and a +7. Walleye Come up Empty in 3-0 Loss to Bloomington

January 18, 2026 - Bloomington, IL - The Toledo Walleye dropped tonight's game at Grossinger Motors Arena by a score of 3-0 to the Bloomington Bison, recording 36 shots on goal in the effort. The Walleye will return to action on Friday against the Kalamazoo Wings at the Huntington Center. January 17, 2026 - Coralville, IA - The Toledo Walleye dropped tonight's game against the Iowa Heartlanders in heartbreaking shootout fashion 3-2 at Xtream Arena. Jed Pietila and Brandon Hawkins each scored in the first period, Tanner Kelly had two assists, and Matt Jurusik stopped 32 of 34 shots he faced and two of three in the shootout.
