Walleye Add Two to the Roster

January 13, 2017 - Toledo, OH - Toledo has acquired forward Nathan Moon from the Wichita Thunder in exchange for future considerations. In a separate move, the Walleye have signed forward Daniel Gentzler to a contract. Moon started this season the Rapid City in which he posted 8 points (2G, 6A) over 12 contests before the Wichita Thunder picked him up. While skating in 19 games for the Thunder, he scored 4 goals with 5 assists. The former 4th round pick of Pittsburg in 2008 has skated in 246 games in the ECHL over his career averaging nearl... MacDonald Loaned to Albany

January 5, 2017 - Toledo, OH - Defenseman Jacob MacDonald has been loaned to the Albany Devils of the American Hockey League. MacDonald was just announced as a starter in the 2017 ECHL All-Star game on Tuesday and currently has 26 points (7G, 19A) over 30 games this season. His 26 points are second among all ECHL defensemen while his seven goals rank third and he is third with 19 assists. Watson to Head All-Star Contest

January 4, 2017 - Toledo, OH - Head Coach Dan Watson has been chosen to be the head coach for the 2017 CCM / ECHL All-Star Classic presented by I LOVE NY. In his first season as head coach, Watson has led the Walleye to best 30 game record in Toledo ECHL history (24-5-1) and is currently the top team in the entire ECHL with 49 points collected.
