Walleye Announce 2016-17 Schedule

April 28, 2016 - TOLEDO, OH - Your Toledo Walleye open their 2016-17 season on the road against the Atlanta Gladiators on October 14. The Walleye play four games on the road before opening their 8th season at the Huntington Center on Saturday, October 22 against Brampton. The team plays its North Division rivals 30 times: Brampton Beast (6 home, 4 road); Kalamazoo Wings (5 home, 5 road); Wheeling Nailers (5 home, 5 road). April 26, 2016 - (Toledo, OH) Matt Caito scored for the Walleye but Reading took the series with a 4-1 game seven at the Huntington Center Tuesday night. The Royals win the series four games to three. Reading's Kevin Goumas, held without a goal in the series, started the scoring with a top shelf wrist shot at 8:06 of the first period. April 25, 2016 - Notes Game 6 in Reading on Sunday, the Walleye got two goals from A.J. Jenks, a goal from Dominic Zombo, and 33 saves from Jeff Lerg en route to a 3-1 win to stay alive and force the deciding Game 7 back in Toledo. A key moment of the game came at 17:32 of the first period, when Lerg denied Reading's Joe Rehkamp on a penalty shot, with the Walleye leading 1-0 at the time. Lerg Backstops Walleye to a 3-1 Game Six Win in Reading

April 24, 2016 - (Reading, PA) Jeff Lerg stopped 33 Reading shots in a 3-1 win for the Walleye Sunday in game six at Reading. The best of seven series is heading to a decisive game seven Tuesday night at the Huntington Center. The Walleye collected a 1-0 lead when Josh Shalla deflected the shot of Dominic Zombo past Reading goaltender Martin Ouellette for his first goal of the playoffs at 9:19 of the first period.
