Last night, the Warriors battled but fell narrowly in a shootout to the Swift Current Broncos. After taking the lead 2 - 1 by the end of the first period, the Warriors recorded the game-tying goal off the stick of Pavel McKenzie with just 56 seconds remaining in the third period. The Swift Current Broncos took an early lead in Friday's game with a goal off the stick of Jaxen Gauchier under three minutes into the frame. Moments later, the Warriors landed on the first man advantage of the game. Last game, the Warriors earned a narrow 3-2 overtime win over the Red Deer Rebels to cap off a busy four games in five days. Captain Lynden Lakovic and Casey Brown each potted one goal during regulation, and Ethan Semeniuk potted the overtime winner.
