Warriors Headed to Canada's World Jr Selection Camp

November 29, 2016 - Moose Jaw Warriors Captain Brett Howden received an invitation today to Hockey Canada's upcoming World Junior Selection Camp. Warriors Head Coach Tim Hunter was previously named an Assistant Coach for Team Canada. Canada's World Junior Selection Camp is December 11 to 14 in Blainville, Quebec and will feature two games against U Sports (formerly CIS) All-Stars on December 12 and 13, and a final game against the Czech Republic on December 14. Warriors Acquire Burke from Lethbridge

November 8, 2016 - Moose Jaw Warriors General Manager Alan Millar has announced the acquisition of 19-year-old forward Brayden Burke from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for 18-year-old Ryan Bowen, a 2nd round pick in 2017, and a conditional pick in 2019. Burke, 5'10", 170lbs, is from Edmonton, Alberta and in his third full season in the WHL. In 15 games this season he has four goals and 23 points, his 19 assists currently ranks 2nd in the WHL and he is tied for 8th in league scoring. Last season Burke had 27 goals and 109 points in 7... Howden Named to Team WHL

October 20, 2016 - Moose Jaw Warriors Captain Brett Howden has been named to Team WHL for the 2016 CIBC Canada Russia Series. Howden joins Warriors Head Coach Tim Hunter with Team WHL, earlier this week Hunter was named as Team WHL Head Coach. Howden was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1st round, 27th overall, at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
