March 5, 2026 - DES MOINES - Since September, Iowa Barnstormers Head Coach Andre Coles has been hard at work assembling a talented roster for the 2026 Indoor Football League (IFL) season. With just over two weeks until the Barnstormers return to the turf, Coles has announced the signing of 35 players who will enter the team's 2026 Training Camp. Barnstormers Sign Wide Receiver

February 23, 2026 - DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have signed wide receiver Donald McKinney to the 2026 roster, Head Coach Andre Coles announced today. McKinney (6-3, 190, Texas Southern) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his rookie Indoor Football League (IFL) season. Collegiately, McKinney began his career at Santa Ana College where he spent one season catching 17 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns. Reed (6-3, 215, Oklahoma State) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his rookie Indoor Football League (IFL) season. Collegiately, Reed Simmons began his career at The College of St. Scholastica where he was a multi-sport athlete competing in football and track.
