MIDLAND, Mich. - An early lead didn't stand long for the TinCaps in an 8-3 loss to the Great Lakes Loons (Los Angeles Dodgers) at Dow Diamond on Wednesday night.

Fort Wayne (7-13) had taken a 1-0 lead in the first, but Great Lakes (5-12) eventually powered in front with four home runs. In the first, center fielder Jeisson Rosario singled to start the game and later scored on a wild pitch. Rosario finished the game with a pair of hits.

The Loons took the lead in the second on a two-run homer from their center fielder Brandon Montgomery. Montgomery then provided an RBI single in the fourth. Later in that frame, catcher Garrett Hope launched a three-run shot. Right fielder Starling Heredia and first baseman Nick Yarnell hit back-to-back homers in the sixth.

The TinCaps' offense was quiet until the ninth when they put up two runs. Shortstop Gabriel Arias singled and scored on an error, and second baseman Reinaldo Ilarraza plated left fielder Jack Suwinski on a groundout after Suwinski reached on an error.

Travis Radke threw 1 1/3 no-hit innings of relief for the visitors. Radke lowered his ERA to 2.53. The left-hander has 20 strikeouts through his first 10 2/3 innings this season.
