Nashville Predators Recall Halischuk from Milwaukee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 11, 2013) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Matt Halischuk from his AHL conditioning assignment with the Milwaukee Admirals. Additionally, Brandon Yip was activated from Injured Reserve and forwards Patric Hornqvist and Colin Wilson were placed on Injured Reserve.
Halischuk, 24 (6/1/88), scored two goals in a come-from-behind victory on Friday night, then set up the game-winning goal in another contest the Ads trailed in after two periods on Saturday to finish his conditioning stint with three points (2g-1a) in two games. The Mississauga, Ont., native has one assist and six penalty minutes in 16 games for the Predators this season.
After back-to-back tilts at Bridgestone Arena this week, the Predators embark on a five-game road trip that takes the team through Dallas, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Columbus. All games will broadcast locally on flagship stations Fox Sports Tennessee (1675 HD, 28 SD) and 102.5 FM The Game. The Predators return home on March 21 to take on the Calgary Flames at Bridgestone Arena for a College Night, presented by Taco Bell.
