Goloubef Assigned To Falcons

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons announced on Monday that defenseman Cody Goloubef has been assigned to the club by its NHL affiliate, the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Goloubef has a goal in nine games with the Blue Jackets this season and has 11 points (5g-6a) in 24 contests with the Falcons in 2012-2013. He played in four games with Columbus during his most recent recall to the club on Feb. 25 and was scoreless.
A native of Oakville, Ontario, Goloubef has accumulated 40 points (11g-29a) in 122 AHL contests and has one goal in 10-career NHL games. Goloubef, 23, was selected by Columbus in the second round (37th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
After beginning this week in Bridgeport and Providence, the Falcons return to the MassMutual Center to host the Bruins on Saturday, Mar. 16 at 7:00 p.m. The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a free Falcons baseball hat. Fans can also win a free bicycle from Gus Coelho Auto Repair at 442 Holyoke St. in Ludlow as part of "Cycle Saturday."

Single-game tickets to see the Falcons in 2012-2013 can be purchased at the MassMutual Center Box Office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. through game time on Saturday home dates, and starting four hours prior to Sunday home contests.
