Wolf Pack Sign Forward Chris McKelvie To ATO

HARTFORD, April 1, 2010: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack have signed forward Chris McKelvie to an Amateur Tryout (ATO) agreement.
McKelvie, a 24-year-old native of New Brighton, Minnesota, comes to the Wolf Pack from Bemidji State University, where he played four seasons of College Hockey America (CHA) action. McKelvie skated in 37 games for the Beavers this season, registering eight goals and 10 assists for 18 points, along with 26 penalty minutes. Season highlights for McKelvie included a two-goal effort in a 5-0 win October 24 at Northern Michigan and back-to-back multiple-point games vs. Niagara, December 4 (two assists in an 8-2 win) and December 5 (goal and an assist in a 3-2 triumph).
In 120 career games in a Bemidji State uniform, the 6-1, 190-pound McKelvie totaled 18 goals and 15 assists for 33 points, plus 88 PIM.
