FRESNO, CALIFORNIA - Just two nights after getting shutout by the Wranglers, the Falcons returned the favor by blanking the Wranglers 3-0.
Jarrett Konkle became the only Falcon to score against the Wranglers this year at 17:08 of the 1st period. Jarrett Konkle scored his second goal of the night by going top shelf off of a Brian O' Hanley pass at 6:50 of the 2nd period.
The third period saw new Falcon J.C. Sawyer, who was just assigned to the Falcons by the Rockford Ice Hogs of the AHL, score his first goal as a Falcon at 18:58 of the 3rd period. Jarrett Konkle scored two goals for the Falcons and Brian O' Hanley notched two assists for the Falcons who also saw Joe Fallon get his first shutout of his professional career by stopping all 28 shots he faced.
The Falcons return to Selland Arena on Friday, December 12 at 7:35 p.m. hosting the Bakersfield Condors. Friday night is Freddie's Holiday Grease Lightning Party on the ice. The Falcons welcome local FFA members to the game.
