RIVERMEN UPCOMING PROMOTIONS
Saturday, October 25
BRADLEY PUCKS & PARENTS NIGHT - In honor of Parents' Weekend at Bradley University the Rivermen are offering $5 Lower Bowl tickets to fans with a valid Bradley student ID.
Sunday, October 26
COMCAST/JOURNAL STAR/FUN ON THE RUN/COKE FAMILY DAY - Kids 12 and Under - $1 Upper Bowl Admission; Hot Dogs, Cokes and Kitchen Cooked Chips - $1 each. One hour prior to game; inflatable games, balloon art (Unique Twist) and face painting. Post-game skate with the team.
Radio: All 80 games, home and away, are broadcast live on your NEW Home for Rivermen Hockey, Hippie Radio 101.1 FM. All broadcasts begin 15 minutes before game time with the Voice of the Rivermen, Brendan Burke.
Internet Audio: LIVE streaming audio of all Rivermen games is available for no charge at www.rivermen.net.
Internet Video: LIVE streaming video with the accompanying audio feed is available at www.rivermen.net through the facilities of the NEW AHL Live. The video Web cast of each game is available for a pay-per-view fee of $6.
WEEK 2 - RIVERMEN ACTION (1-1-0-0)
Friday, October 17 - RIVERMEN 3 vs. Milwaukee 1: Ben Bishop made 23 saves and picked up the first assist of his professional career to lead the Peoria Rivermen to a 3-1 win over the Milwaukee Admirals Friday night at Carver Arena. Nikolay Lemtyugov and Steve Regier added a goal and an assist each to help the Rivermen celebrate their first "Pink in the Rink" Breast Cancer Awareness Night to benefit the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation.
Saturday, October 18 - RIVERMEN 2 @ Chicago 3: A back-and-forth game went the way of the Chicago Wolves as they defeated the Peoria Rivermen 3-2 on Saturday night in front of 11,988 fans at Allstate Arena. Matt Anderson's goal broke a 2-2 tie with just 6:57 remaining in regulation and proved to be the difference. The game featured 18 power plays between the two sides and both of Peoria's goals came on the man advantage. Chris Conner scored for the second straight game and Julian Talbot scored his, team leading, fourth of the season.

BREATHING ROOM
Through the first five games of the season, the Rivermen have already played three one-goal games (two of which went to overtime). All five of their games have been decided by two goals or less and no team has had more than a two-goal lead over the Rivermen at any point so far. Peoria's largest lead was three, on opening night @ Iowa.
SEE YOU IN DECEMBER
The Rivermen met the Chicago Wolves on Saturday night in their first of 10 meetings this season. The two West division opponents will not see each other again until December 3 (45 days and 16 games in between).
SPREADING THE WEALTH
Five different players (Talbot, Regier, Lemtyugov, Whitfield and Jackson) have at least four points through the first five games. 13 of the 20 skaters that have appeared for the Rivermen this season have registered a point. Goalie Ben Bishop also recorded his first career assist on Friday vs. Milwaukee.
RIGHT BACK AT IT
After leading the team with 24 goals during his rookie season, Julian Talbot is leading the way so far with four. That total ranks him fourth in the American Hockey League.
