
Jamie Tardif to See Time in American Hockey League

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks, announced today that rookie forward Jamie Tardif has been called up by the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League. The Storm also announced that they have added forward Vin Hellemeyer.
Tardif has appeared in 15 games with the Storm this season and has been a main offensive producer for Toledo. The rookie has collected 5 goals and 9 assists, good for 6th in the league among all first-year players. Prior to his days in Toledo, Tardif skated five seasons with the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League. The Manitoba Moose will play in Hershey tonight and in Philadelphia tomorrow night.
Hellemeyer, the Yale University product, will join the Storm after playing five games with the Reading Royals this season. The Franklin Square, New York native has also seen time with the Flint Generals and the Port Huron Flags. He began his professional career in 2004 with the Topeka Tarantulas.
The Storm will now travel to Trenton for Saturday and Sunday meetings with
the Titans. Saturday's game will begin at 7:00pm and on Sunday, the puck
drops at 4:00pm. You can hear all the action of both games LIVE on 1520 AM

Toledo Sports Arena on December 9th, when they will welcome in the Wheeling
