Juliel Ellis made 51 saves in Victoria's losing battle to Alaska. Chris Beckford-Tseu tallied his second shutout of the season in facing 24 Salmon Kings shots. Victoria fought the Alaska powerplay five times in the first period and three times in the second, with two of those series on a two-man disadvantage. Corbin Schmidt capitalized on a rebound to the right circle for his second goal of the season, and Kevin Croxton and Vladimir Novak added two more goals in the third to secure the win.
