Titans and Toys for Tots join forces for holiday season

TRENTON, NJ (December 2, 2006) - The Trenton Titans announced that they will be working with Toys for Tots to help collect toys for disadvantaged children in the Mercer County area during the holiday season.

Beginning Saturday, December 2 during their game against the Toledo Storm, the Titans, in association with the United States Marine Corps Reserve, are asking fans to bring new and unwrapped toys to the Sovereign Bank Arena, where donation boxes will be located inside each entrance. The Toys for Tots drive will continue for all Titans' home games up through Saturday, December 9 versus the Bakersfield Condors. All toys collected will be given as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community.

Toys for Tots is an annual program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve that distributes Christmas gifts to disadvantaged children. The primary goal of Toys for Tots is delivering a message of hope to needy youngsters, motivating them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
