RoadRunners Deal Riddle To Grizzlies

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes and the San Antonio Rampage, have traded the rights to forward Jake Riddle to the Utah Grizzlies in exchange for future considerations.

Riddle, 23, tallied 11 goals and 24 points, and a career-high 226 penalty minutes in 63 games last season between the RoadRunners and the Augusta Lynx. The Minneapolis, Minn. native was acquired by the RoadRunners along with defenseman Shaun Fisher from the Lynx on Dec. 2, 2005 in exchange for defenseman Ed Hill and forward B.J. Gaustad. Riddle was one of eight players tendered a qualifying offer by the RoadRunners on July 3.

The RoadRunners travel to the Save Mart Center to face-off against the Fresno Falcons at 8:35 p.m. Saturday. Catch all the action live on www.phxroadrunners.com beginning with "RoadRunners Countdown" at 8:15 p.m.

Phoenix returns to US Airways Center at 7:11 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12 as they welcome the Victoria Salmon Kings. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
