July 8, 2026 - The initial second-half Spikes roster includes eight players returning from the season's first half, including slugging first baseman CJ Richmond, who tied for the MLB Draft League lead in doubles with 10 in the opening half and was responsible for five of the Spikes' seven hardest-hit balls in that span. Spikes, Crosscutters Canceled by Inclement Weather on Sunday

July 5, 2026 - UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Sunday night's scheduled first-half finale between the State College Spikes and Williamsport Crosscutters at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park was canceled due to inclement weather. The game will not be made up. Fans holding tickets for Sunday night's game can exchange them for tickets of equal or lesser value to any other 2026 Spikes home game, based on availability.
