Cougars Announce 2026-2027 Regular Season Schedule
June 30, 2026 - PRINCE GEORGE, BC - The wait is over.
The Prince George Cougars are excited to unveil their 2026-27 Western Hockey League Regular Season Schedule.
The Cougars will kick off the new campaign with a marquee opening weekend at the CN Centre, welcoming the Penticton Vees for a two-game set on Friday, September 18 (7:00 p.m.) and Saturday, September 19 (6:00 p.m.). Carels and Lemire Selected in 2026 NHL Draft
June 29, 2026 - PRINCE GEORGE, BC - It was a weekend Carson Carels and Kayden Lemire will never forget.
The Prince George Cougars saw both skaters selected in the 2026 NHL Draft, with Carels chosen sixth overall by the Calgary Flames and Lemire selected 114th overall by the Minnesota Wild.
The selections also mark the fifth consecutive season the Cougars have had at least one player drafted into the NHL.
