Late Inning Rally Falls Short as Dust Devils Lose Game Two

August 31, 2016 - A late rally fell short on Tuesday night as the Tri-City Dust Devils (13-19, 32-38) lost to the Eugene Emeralds (23-9, 51-19) on the road 7-5. Providing a spark at the plate Kyle Overstreet had three hits and Manny DeLeon scored two of the team's five runs. Reliever Jean Garcia struggled in his debut with Tri-City. Garcia walked four of the six batters he faced and allowed four runs, giving Eugene the 7-1 lead in the sixth inning. The Dust Devils mounted a comeback bid in the seventh inning. ... Full Story

Tri-City Fall in Series Opener

August 30, 2016 - A G.K. Young home run was not enough for the Tri-City Dust Devils (13-18, 32-37) on Monday night as the team fell 4-2 to the Eugene Emeralds (22-9, 50-19). Buddy Reed continued his hot stretch at the plate, extending his hitting streak to seven games. Young hit his blast on the first pitch of the second inning to give Tri-City the one-run lead. August 25, 2016 - Rally Falls Short in Series Finale The Tri-City Dust Devils (10-17, 29-36) could not complete the comeback as the team lost 5-4 to the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (11-15, 28-36) on Wednesday night at Gesa Stadium. Catcher Wilfri De La Cruz produced at the plate for the Dust Devils, collecting two hits and scoring two of the team's four runs. August 23, 2016 - The Tri-City Dust Devils (10-15, 28-35) were held scoreless after leaving 14 runners stranded in the 2-0 loss to the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (10-15, 28-35) at Gesa Stadium on Monday night. Tri-City starter Joey Lucchesi struck out seven batters, but suffered the loss after allowing one unearned run.
