Thunderbirds Sign F Milan Lucic to PTO

November 4, 2025 - SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Springfield Thunderbirds announced today that the club has signed forward Milan Lucic to a professional tryout contract. Lucic, 37, originally signed a PTO with the St. Louis Blues prior to 2025 training camp and skated in four preseason games, posting a goal and an assist before being sidelined with an injury. Stars Ride Poirier to Sweep Two Games in Manitoba

November 3, 2025 - WINNIPEG, Manitoba - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, shut out the Manitoba Moose 3-0 on Monday night at Canada Life Centre. Manitoba came out firing in the first period after dropping last night's affair, but Remi Poirier was up to the task. The Stars goaltender was credited with just five stops in the period, but the majority of them were high-danger chances. The game stayed scoreless through one. Austin Watson Reassigned to Grand Rapids

November 3, 2025 - GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Detroit Red Wings on Monday reassigned right wing Austin Watson to the Grand Rapids Griffins. Watson, a 14-year veteran, has two goals, 20 penalty minutes and a plus-one rating in four games with Grand Rapids this season. Last campaign, the Ann Arbor, Michigan, native competed in his first AHL All-Star Classic and totaled 42 points (19-23-42), 112 penalty minutes and a plus-10 rating in 60 regular-season games with the Griffins.
