FRESNO, Calif. - The New Orleans Zephyrs have dropped three consecutive and have fallen three games under .500 for the first time this season. The Z's will continue their eight game road trip tonight at 9PM central time from Fresno.

The Miami Marlins promoted Duane Below from the Z's. Below was 2-2 with a 3.38 ERA in four starts since being acquired from the Detroit Tigers organization. Below replaces Jon Rauch on the roster. Rauch was designated for assignment on Saturday following the Marlins sixth consecutive loss.

He also played in the WBC this spring for Mexico. Velazquez spent the majority of 2012 as a Zephyr batting .312 in 110 games. He also played in 19 games with the Marlins.

The Zephyrs have made 10 roster moves since Wednesday adding five players.
