Garrett Zemlak's Season Continues Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - The Prince Albert Raiders are pleased to announce that 20 year-old goaltender Garrett Zemlak has agreed to an Amateur Try Out contract with the New York Rangers organization and will be joining the Charlotte Checkers of the East Coast Hockey League immediately. Zemlak who last night was named the Raiders Most Outstanding Player for the 2009-10 season left this morning for Charlotte, North Carolina. Zemlak appeared in 57 games for the Raiders this season with a 3.11 goals against average and save percentage of .909 with 4 shut outs. Zemlak ranked second in shots faced (1871) and third in the WHL this season in minutes played (3,277).
