Yankees Top Lynx

August 2, 2007 - International League (IL1)
Ottawa Lynx News Release

Game Recap: Scranton opened the scoring in the top of the second off Lynx starter Landon Jacobsen. But the Lynx got that run back with a run of their own in the bottom of the frame. Pedro Swann scored a two-out RBI, driving in Jason Jaramillo to square the affair at 1-1. The Yankees scored another in the top of the third but Ottawa tied the game again with a run in the bottom of the fourth when Gary Burnham sent a Ross Ohlendorf offering over the rightfield fence, drawing the Lynx even with Scranton again. But the Yankees got the better of the Lynx bullpen, scoring the eventual winner in the top of the seventh and twice more in the top of the eighth. Final score: Scranton/WB 5, Ottawa 2.

Next Game: The Lynx host Syracuse in the first game of a four-game series. First pitch Friday night is 7:05 pm.
