Louisville, KY - Outfielder Chris Dickerson and LHP Phil Dumatrait have been named Hitter and Pitcher of the Month for July for the Louisville Bats.

During the month of July, Dickerson batted a team-high .299 (29-97) with two doubles, four triples, 13 RBI, 12 walks, eight stolen bases and 19 runs scored. Dickerson started the season with the Double-A Chattanooga Lookouts and was promoted to Louisville May 7.

Dickerson, 25, is batting .261 in 78 games with the Bats this season, his first year in Triple-A. He hit for Louisville's second cycle of the season July 26 at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. It was the fourth cycle in franchise history.

Dumatrait went 2-0 with a 2.96 ERA in four starts for the Bats during the month of July. On the season, Dumatrait is 10-5 with a 3.49 ERA in 21 starts. His 10 wins are tied for second in the International League and his ERA is sixth best.

The 26-year-old was selected to the International League team for the Triple-A All-Star Game in Albuquerque last month. Dumatrait is scheduled to make his Major League debut with the Reds Thursday, August 2 in Washington.
