After defeating winning a 12-inning contest on Tuesday night, the Staten Island Yankees (26-24) fell to the Williamsport Crosscutters (33-19), 4-1.

The Crosscutters got on the board early as Jose Pujols smashed a home run over the center field fence in the second inning, putting the first run on the board.

In the top of the third inning, Williamsport's William Cuicas doubled to left field, advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt then scored on an Andrew Amaro single to make it 2-0 in favor of the Crosscutters.

The Crosscutters kept it going in the fourth inning. Venn Biter singled to left field then advanced to third on back-to-back wild pitches by Staten Island starter Kolton Mahoney (L, 1-1). Biter went on to score on a Jesus Posso single to right field.

The Yankees broke their silence in the sixth inning. Kyle Holder drew a walk then advanced to second on a Mitch Gueller (W, 7-1) wild pitch. After reaching third on a Thairo Estrada single, Holder scored on a double play to cut the Crosscutters' lead to 3-1.

Travis Hissong entered the game for Staten Island in the seventh, allowing one more Williamsport run. Cuicas singled to center field then advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt. After reaching third on an Amaro ground out, Josh Tobias brought home Cuicas on a single to make the final score of 4-1.

The two teams go at it once again Thursday morning at 11 for the final Camp Day of 2015.
