Wheeling Nailers News Release
Wheeling, WV â The Wheeling Nailers announced they will host WWE Star Ric Flair at WesBanco Arena on Friday, December 19, 2003 from 7-9pm.
Ric Flair, better know as "The Nature Boy" will appear at the Friday, December 19, 2003 Wheeling Nailers game when the Nailers play host to the Peoria Rivermen. Flair will be signing autographs at the Nailers game from 7-9pm. One "FREE" autograph per person with additional autographs for a $10.00 fee to benefit the Golden Spike Association Tickets for Kids program.
The Golden Spike Association Tickets for Kids benefits area youth with tickets to see a Wheeling Nailers hockey game. The Golden Spike Association Tickets for Kids, through the Ohio Valley Community Foundation provides free tickets to charitable organizations like Big Brothers/Big Sisters, House of the Carpenter, Youth Services of Ohio County, and the St. John's Home for Children.
Some call Flair, "The Dirtiest Player in the Game." Others refer to him as simply "The Nature Boy." No matter what nickname he has earned, Flair is one of the cagiest competitors to ever step in the ring and it seems that the legend will continue to grow for a long time to come. Along with Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista, Flair is currently enjoying a run as a member of Evolution, which could be the most dominating partnership since the Four Horsemen of the 1980s. More than 20 years after first entering the ring, Flair continues to be at the top of his game.
Tickets for the event are on sale now at the WesBanco Arena Box Office. Discounts are available for groups of 20 or more. For tickets, call WesBanco Arena or Ticket Master (304) 233-3535. Doors open at 6:30pm and face-off for the Nailers game will be 7:30pm.
