LOUD NOISES: West Virginia and Greensboro continue their four game series late this afternoon. The Power lead the all-time set 72-69, but momentum has swung the Hoppers way since the beginning of the 2009 season. Greensboro leads the series 52-37 since West Virginia became a Pittsburgh Pirates affiliate. The Power are now 34-38 all-time at NewBridge Bank Park, which opened in 2005. These club meet for one more series during the first half, June 1-3 in Charleston, and then for two five-game series in the second half.

STILL STREAKING: Cole Tucker's second three hit game of the season extended his hitting streak to 11 straight, dating back to April 16. Tucker's streak is the longest by a Power player this season and is the longest current streak by any player in the South Atlantic League. In this series alone, the Power have stranded 22 men on and have gone 2-16 with runners in scoring position.

TIME TO REBOUND: Alex McRae will make his team-high fifth start of this season when he toes the rubber today. The right-hander allowed three runs in 10 innings over his first two starts, but has surrendered 10 runs in seven innings over his last two. After today, each of McRae's last four starts will have been on the road (0-2, 8.25 ERA).

SEVENTH HEAVEN: Pablo Reyes's hitting streak is now at seven games after his ninth inning double on Saturday. The Power infielder is batting .308 during his streak with one home run and four runs batted in.

APRIL TO APRIL: Over 20 April games this season, West Virginia went 13-7, batted .267 with nine home runs and held a staff earned run average of 3.66. After the first month of the 2014 season, the Power were 9-17, had hit .254 with four home runs and held a staff ERA of 3.75.
